Global WAKECup

Global WAKEcup is a zero waste reusables brand with a mission to end single use plastic pollution for good. They wanted to help fight against single-use plastics as the crisis is more urgent than ever.

10% of the profits from every sale are donated to the Marine Conservation Society to support their vital work protecting marine habitats and campaigning and against plastic pollution.

Also for every product sold during the UK’s lockdown, they donated one WAKEcup to a doctor, nurse or care worker in the NHS, as a thank you for their critical efforts on the frontlines of the Coronavirus pandemic. Wow!

The lunchbox, as all Global WakeCup products, looks beautiful as well as being great for the environment and is so well made. The clips on the side are so snug the lunchbox is even able to carry soup!

Inside the box there is a stainless steam divider that can be moved or removed, great for keeping sandwiches and fruit (or cake!) separate. Entirely plastic free, the Lunchbox comes in two sizes. 800ml for children and 1200ml.

The lunchbox can easily be wiped clean and I know this is going to last and last! A brilliant reusable lunchbox for our little adventures, leave the plastic behind and switch to the Global WakeCup lunchbox!

It is made from sustainably sourced organic bamboo and has a double walled stainless steel interior! There is also a removable diffuser for loose leaf tea that is a great extra feature and very well made and super smart.

The lid is said to be leak proof and despite being jiggled about on our little adventures we have had not one leak!

It also holds 450ml (210mm x 70mm) and is plenty big enough for a day out and more than enough to share too!

You can use the bottle for cold and hot drinks and I can testify it definitely keeps a drink cool or hot! We have been out for a days adventuring and returned home for the remainder of the coffee to still be warm in the bottle!

This water bottle is already a must have item on our days out and adventures! With year, 100 billion coffee cups ending up in landfill and a plastic bottle taking up to 1000 years to decompose, it is time to make the switch!

Vegan WAKEbag Backpack

This is a 100% vegan backpack. It looks like a leather type fabric and has the durability and thickness of leather too, it also gets better with age! It is actually made from poly paper fibres which are spun and then bonded together to create the look of paper.

It may not look it but the rucksack is waterproof, and washable so practical too!

It is also deceivingly large inside! The inside is lined and also has two pockets. One pocket for say a phone, wallet or keys and a huge pocket the full width for a tablet or laptop! It has a strap across the pocket to hold a tablet in place-an excellent quality feature!

There is also a side zip to get access to the main body of the back -very handy for when you are wearing the rucksack! And a sneaky fully lined back pocket with a zip entrance on the back of the rucksack.

The bag has plenty or room for a tablet, water bottle, hat, gloves, purse and snacks if out with little ones! It really is an excellent size (420 x 270 x 130mm) internally without being big and bulky!

The top of the bag folds over to fasten with a buckle detail but it actually closes on a popper which is really easy and a secure close.

The rucksack straps are fully adjustable, (said to fit aged 7 upwards) and there is also a hook as well for hanging up the bag.

This is a quality bag, amazing ethics, beautiful details and super smart, perfect for our adventures, but think this one’s for Mummy! πŸ’™
