Didriksons believe in creating products that will last for a long time. For example they have an Extend Size function where you can increase the size of the clothing-very clever! They also offer repair kits and the name label inside allows you to add a full list of names, not just one owner! This is important to us -that the clothing is made to last and can be passed on to siblings and friends too.

Didriksons also take responsibility for the entire chain from production through to recycling, using recycled and recyclable polyester and PFC-free water-repellent finishes, more eco-friendly dyeing processes and sustainable designs that will last.

You can tell instantly the great quality of the Didriksons Kure Parka jacket, the details, the design, the look. The parka is wind and waterproof and also breathable so definitely practical as well as smart.

The jacket looks stunning!! This is the dark denim blue and it looks fantastic, it is also available in cloud blue, leaf green, lilac, navy and plum, however I highly recommend the denim blue.

The front zip is very strong and has a double front flap over the zip with a Velcro fastening, there are no draughts getting through there! The seams are also taped and the coat is definitely windproof! At the top there is a a soft fabric zip protector where little ones faces will be when all tucked up in this coat against the cold-lovely and gently against their faces.

The hood is removable as is the fur trim-both fastened on with poppers. The hood also has a Velcro strap at the back to adjust the size and it pulls well down over the face for cold and wet weather. This is a very snuggly warm hood-padded and roomy enough to keep heads warm and out of the cold.

The Kure Parka has a drawstring around the bottom, again showing the level of detail the cord is not left hanging out the bottom but carefully fastened to the inside seam of the coat.

There are huge Velcro fastened front pockets, plenty big enough for keeping hands in or lots of treasures!

The cuffs have a Velcro strap to adjust the fitting and inside there is soft stretchy cuff to prevent drafts and also keep hand warm with a thumb hole, once shown my daughter loves this feature!

There are also reflectors on the cuff and back of the jacket.

This Kure Parka features the Didriksons “Extend size” as the sleeves can be extended by up to one size. The name label also allows loads of owners to be added- clothes to last for generations! The coat is unisex-always perfect for hand me downs to little brothers and I just know this jacket is going to have a lot of life left in it.

My daughter has just turned six and this is a great size (120cm) with plenty of room for growth but without being swamped!

Some more eco credentials are the jacket is padded with recycled polyester fibre for that lovely warm insulation. The lining has been dyed using a solution dyeing technique that reduces water, energy and chemical consumption during production. PFC-free water-repellent finish.

This jacket really is incredibly warm and with no drafts at all, every opening and seal and detail has been considered! This jacket will last and last, a coat that will be passed on through the family and friends. This is a stunning, incredibly well made and clever jacket, I would definitely recommend this jacket for outdoor adventures!
